in assosation with:
Larenstein University
ZAPSCAPES cuts across the boundaries of disciplines. At the conference
creative authorities from neighbouring disciplines will demonstrate
results achieved with the help of computer techniques, clearly
emphasizing the relationship between analysis, design, (re)presentation
and production. Pre-eminent landscape designers and other artists will
be challenged to go out of their depths and adopt these techniques.
ZAPSCAPES pays attention to the common ground that the use of the
computer creates between design studies and the visualization and
production of landscape plans. In addition to the regular post-graduate
courses, this conference wants to be a stage for the transfer of
knowledge about and experience with the use of the computer in landscape
analysis, -design and -visualization.

Foundation Holland World Fairs
in assosation with:
DENetc
EXPO 2000 is the first World Exposition in the close to one-and-a-half centuries’ history of world exhibitions
to take place in Germany. It presents at the same time two new features. This World Exposition is not just
taking place in Hanover, but all over the world where people are developing ideas for the future and putting
them into practice: the concept of global projects is joining together model ideas from all over the world in
the presentation, and in this way is taking this World Exposition out into the wider world. Also new is the EXPO
2000 idea of the Thematic Area.
